My Grade-A modified bags are the antidote for the poly-lined synthetic leather run-of-the-mill bags being produced in China. Most of my bags are full-grain leather; Artisan craft , with authentic distressed character, and many with modifications unique to our line. We only use high-grade men's belts for shoulder straps. This leather is reminiscent of equestrian leather halter straps. I also use half centimeter thick moose skin.

Nothing wimpy here; quality and character that stands out and stands the test of a truly rugged lifestyle. Invest in a bag that you'll love more and more over time. Not all leather bags are created the same.

At the time of this listing, I have 180 items all unique and different. Once you have tried it you will wonder how you functioned before without an inside handle. Also on many of my briefcases, I add a moose skin handle wrap. The handle is the point of contact that the owner has with their bag and moose skin leather is so pleasing to touch. My philosophy in writing descriptions is: a picture speaks 1000 words.

That said, here is my description. What I love about this case is the quality construction of the leather and the wonderfully formed gusseted pockets on the front. I like that the leather shows some of the wrinkles of the natural leather. I also like the contrasting flap in a slight darker color that the body of the bag.

Solid Brass buckles, clips and, quick release buttons on each of the front straps. You can get to your gear quickly. I was fortunate enough to find just the right men's belt with contrast stitching that nearly matches the contrast stitching of the bag. The Belt is made from exquisite durable yet flexible latigo leather to make a strap from. People write to me all the time and tell me that one of the best things about my bags is my repurposed belt straps. They are wide the whole length of strap and with no sliding pad to hassle with. I have made this belt with Solid Brass Clips/Snaps and pounded copper rivets and leather washers made from moose leather. If you are not familiar with pounded copper rivets, they are a really old school re-enforcement that us next to impossible to remove. I have even tried to drill some out before when I have made a mistake and I could not do it.

Additionally, I have made a custom removable Moose Skin Leather Handle Wrap. You can use it on all your briefcases it easily snaps off.

I use high-grade 7-8 ounce moose leather which is very comfortable to hold in your hand. It is the part of the bag that the owner will come into contact with the most and each time s/he will mentally say, "that's nice leather". I have not known anyone who after they touch Moose leather has not told me how nice it feels to the touch. It's high-quality 7 to 8 ounce mooseskin. If you're not familiar with leather ounce ratings it means it's nearly half a centimeter thick.

It is like deerskin but thicker; it is my favorite leather in the world. It can get wet and never needs conditioning as it will not crack. That is why Native Americans use them to make moccasins. In fact my supplier tells me that frequently some Tribes will order a whole bunch of moose leather and teach the skill of making moccasins to their families.

Moose Moccasins are such a wonderful comfortable lounge wear. I have not added my custom inside moose skin handle as I have on other cases in my store. For those of you who are not familiar with my unique inside handle: I can add an inside grab and go handle. It will hang on a doorknob, the back of a chair, or a hook in your office.

You can even carry your case open! Once you tried the handle on the inside you'll love it. It makes loading your gear much easier. Mooseskin is like deerskin but thicker; it is my favorite leather in the world. A few other things I like are.

An inside pocket that fits a naked iPad Pro 12.9 (as seen in the photos) It has a K&K quality Zipper. That said I would always recommend that you put the screen toward the inside of the body of the bag to prevent and damage as you may bump the brass buckles against it if you face the screen away from the body of the bag. If you have a wallet case then it can go either way. I probably did not need to say all that but just my rambling to make sure you don't get surprised. One more thing that set this case apart from the usual: It has two top D rings that are metal reinforced. I like that they are not on the sides.

The measurements, in inches, are approximately: 16W x 13H (Not including the top handle) x5D (Not including the Front Pockets).
