My bags are the antidote for the poly-lined synthetic leather run-of-the-mill bags being produced in China. Most of my bags are full-grain leather; Artisan craft , with authentic distressed character, and many with modifications unique to our line.

We only use high-grade men's belts for shoulder straps. This leather is reminiscent of equestrian leather halter straps. I also use half centimeter thick moose skin. Nothing wimpy here; quality and character that stands out and stands the test of a truly rugged lifestyle. Invest in a bag that you'll love more and more over time.

What I love about this old Pigskin leather briefcase is that it was built 30+ years before a company like Apple had even begun but yet it fits the MacBook and iPad Pro so well that is almost seems made for them.

It also goes to show you that this case was built to last. Can you imagine somebody 30 years from now trying to pitch. Here is a beautiful black nylon case with plastic this and plastic that? It seems to me that the bag makers of men's briefcases have the Henry Ford Model-T syndrome.

Ford is has been said told people that they could get a Model-T Ford in any color as long as it was black. Bag Manufacturers seem to say you can get this bag in any color as long as it is black. I love the wonderfully aged patina and the distressed skin along with it's wrinkled texture of the Pigskin Leather on the outside. This case was made by Rexbilt. It has four patents on the label I looked them all up and they all had 1930's dates.

It is really in great shape. Some cases of this age start to dry out and turn to dust; not this treasure. I have reconditioned the leather and the inside appears to be made of some type of water resistant material; maybe vinyl. Before I looked up the patent numbers from the inside tag, I would have put this case in the 1950s or 1960s. One more noteworthy item of interest: The zipper webbing is solid and the zipper is made by Talon; widely regarded as the worlds best zipper company!
