What I like about this briefcase is the light natural nude tan leather. The distressed look is fantastic evening with the ink stain on the bottom. Most of us appreciate a shoulder strap on a briefcase so we can throw it over your shoulder and head out the door.

However with the 1970s briefcase from coach that was not really an option. I have taken the time to find a matching shoulder strap and have attached to the rings with pounded copper rivets. This case is now truly one-of-a-kind.

I have this listed as a Men's bag but any woman who appreciates rugged leather goods could make this work for that perfect rugged look. This bag has been beautifully distressed by real people over many years. It got distressed by being loved till it got to me. I have taken the time to recondition the leather.

This is a highly sought after 1970s light British tan color briefcase bag with added shoulder strap. I used high-grade pounded copper rivets for the brass d-ring hardware attachments. This leather briefcase is in good distressed vintage condition by real people over the past 40 years one of which got an ink stain on the bottom; in my opinion this only adds to the distressed look. Well made from tanned calf skin leather, with solid brass hardware.
